Happy Halloween

It's been too long since I've updated the blog. So we are back on Halloween. We had a very fun Holiday. Probably the best yet. The kids both really go into it this year. Miles' Donald Duck costume was a hit. And Addy made a very cute cheerleader. We wish our family could have seen them in their cute costumes, so here's a little taste of our Halloween.

The Big Party

A couple days after Tayler's actual birthday we had a few friends over to our clubhouse and had a little party. It was supposed to be a little party until I turned the party planning over to Addy. She decided we would do all of her favorite things. For example: Pin the Wart on the very cool Witch Daddy painted, Carving Pumpkins, and her favorite as you can tell from the photos, Bobbing for Apples. She literally stuck her entire head under the water a number of times. The only drawback of the evening was when Miles started to look a little peaked and Tayler rushed him into the bathroom just in time to vomit in the sink. Needless to say, Sarah and Miles only went to the first Half hour of the party. I heard it was fun.

Tayler's Birthday

Since Tayler had class all day on his birthday we just had banana splits and presents on his actual birthday. It was fun though and we did a big cake a couple days later. He was turning 30, so I figured we'd better do something fun.

Halloween Fun

Anyone who knows anything about Tayler knows that his favorite holiday is Halloween. Complete with fake blood always. So we decided to make a diorama for family night one monday in October and what started out as a fun project for the kids turned out to be a more extravagant project for Mom and Dad. We actually conspired to getting the kids down for bed and then just finishing it ourselves without them knowing. Needless to say, it actually turned out better than we thought. It was a fun project.

My Little Mummies

So we have literally gone through like 5 full rolls of toilet paper making ourselves into mummies. I never really cared if I used cheap toilet paper or the good stuff until I started trying to wrap the kids into mummies. That's when the charmin would have really come in handy.
