A Bad Blogger

It's been brought to my attention that I'm a bad blogger. Can't imagine why! And for me blogging is like scrap-booking. If I feel like I have a whole bunch to catch up on I just don't do it. So I've posted a few new things but am not about to catch up the last 3 months. Hope you enjoy.

American Girl Place

Ever since Santa brought Kit Kittredge for Christmas, Addy has been talking about going to the American Girl Place. Obviously this is way out of the budget. However, after further consideration I realized that if Addy would ever have a chance to go to the American Girl Place, it would be during our time out here by Chicago. There are stores in New York, L.A., and Chicago. So, for helping Daddy out while Mommy was gone in SLC, Addy earned a trip with Kit to the American Girl Place. Let me tell you, it was a sight to behold just to watch her there. She loved every second. We had Lunch in the Cafe, got Kit's hair done at the doll salon, and Addy got her picture taken on the cover of American Girl Magazine to take home. Unfortunately, it's been hard to explain that it was one of those once-in-a-lifetime things and we won't be going back any time soon. But it was a great day for Mom and Addy.

The Girls Together Again

For those who have seen this picture, I apologize. But it's not often that we have all seven girls together. It was great to see Emily. My adorable husband let me fly back for the weekend Emily returned. It was eventful to say the least, but nonetheless great to see Emily and be will all my sisters.

Addy's Sweetheart

I realize that Addy is only in Kindergarten. But, truth be told, Addy and Jack are engaged. At least that's what Jack's mom tells me. This is a darling boy from Addy's kindergarten class that Addy is "in love with." What are we going to do when she is a teenager? When we talk about moving from here in 3 months her biggest concern is not being able to see Jack again.
